It’s getting better, but it is much more painful

The colour is brighter, but it is way more hurtful,

It’s filling out, but it still appears deeptears_dry_on_my_heart_by_helenas_sweetheart

It is healing but I still can’t leap,

It is drying up but it still dribbles

It tears me apart and makes my faith feeble,

Hmmm… There comes the sigh from deep within

Alongside is the hurt carefully hidden,

Wishing the scar would be hidden as well

Even as I try to come out from this hell,

Hope and faith I must keep close

Till I’m out of all my woes

  1. Hi Sewy, this is so beautiful even as we make our transit through life with different aspirations and expectations; hope and faith we truly must keep close. Well done .

  2. This is so nice and inspiring Sewy. Never knew you were that poetic. Sure life has its twists and turns , some we avert, some we never see it coming until it hits us hard but in all where we have to run, we run, walk we walk ,crawl we crawI and fly we fly. In all we must keep moving and be very courageous. Courage many a time is not the roar but the silent whisper which says I will try again tomorrow. Together we will make it. Hope and faith not neglecting love will be our banner!. Blessings!

  5. Nice write-up gf…..I suggest finding an alternative out of the pain and hurt instead of temporarily concealing the scar because scars are there to stay.
